I told him, “I want out.” It was a decision I’ve been contemplating about for weeks now. The delay was unnecessary yet I’ve kept it until I reached the point where I can’t stand it anymore. There were no more sweet nothings, no more late night to early morning calls, no more text messages to wake up to. It became boring and useless. Though I can see his effort in visiting me every week, still I felt nothing. Well, I guess we just reached the end of the cycle. And I’m not that desperate to settle cause honestly, I don’t get anything from it. I don’t feel like the way it was before so there’s only two options here. Either I’ll stay and continue being miserable, or leave and be free and happy with the small things once again.
